Biography

Formed in September of 2010 by Dan Jago and Sam Damarell, and after several line up changes, Antari reached it's current form. All members of Antari grew up listening to heavy metal, hard rock and punk music, and have all wanted to play music professionally for many years. With the release of Antari's first E.P 'Ampueases' recorded with it's old line up, the local music scene saw that this was no longer just a bunch of kids getting up on local stages, rather, a defined band, who takes themselves as serious as they need to, but still know how and when to have a laugh. During late 2011, the band's bassist, drummer and rhythm guitarist all left the band, for varied reasons, in around 2 weeks time, Sam and Dan had already hired replacements. The band got to work on new material, for the upcoming E.P 'Pandora' gigging was scarse and the writing sessions were some-what grueling. 'Pandora' was released on the 1st of Febuary 2012, and gained alot of attention from fans and other people alike, the band are planning on touring with this E.P and a selection of other songs up until the writing begins for their expected album 'Campaigns Of Misinformation' due for release late 2012.
