Beyond Betrayal started out in 2009 as a metalcore act that brought an energetic stage show and a sense of nostalgia to fans of the early metalcore scene baring a sound like Killswitch Engage. The band went on to place 2nd out of hundreds of applicants in the prestigious "Ready to Rumble" contest in 2010 helping their fan base grow even stronger.
In 2011 the band decided to completely rebrand themselves with a new vocalist and guitarist, taking on a more aggressive and faster sound infusing the new members; passion for deathcore with the already existing melodic sound of the band. The band has put together a completely new set and has recorded their second EP "Money Can't Save You Now" which was recorded by David Page and worked on by Shane Frisby (Bury Your Dead, The Ghost Inside). The EP has received great reviews since it's release in November 2011.
