Biography

Bringing savage live shows and dynamic drive, the freshly-formed five piece ‘Doomed From Day One’ are rapidly climbing the ranks in the British metal scene. Pulling together and cunningly merging the key elements of Prog, Melo-death and Hardcore, DFDO create a fiery hybrid that ultimately compacts the truly engaging components of Death Metal. Ever since their inception at the tail end of 2009, the ferocious South-Coast Death-metallers have quickly built momentum and with over 100 shows under their belts already have an impressive underground following throughout the UK. Prominent supports with the likes of Malefice, Silent Screams, Annotations Of An Autopsy, Martyr Defiled to name a few.

*Kerrang! – Dan Slesso – “Their juddering violence is apparently designed to relocate your vertebrae to your spleen”

*Zero Tolerance – Will Pinfold – “This is a brutal, super confident debut, exploding with technical skill, precision and face-melting guttural vocals and complex musical ideas”

*Metal Hammer – Jonathan Selzer – “This death metal looks further than the next subdrop…a promising debut”

*Big Chesse – Tim Birkbeck - “This five-piece from Guildford are an extremely tight unit and it comes across loud and clear.”
