Biography

Reaper In Sicily (Rhys Bernardo, Jonny Chappell, Matthew Jenkins, Mike Evans, Richard Boggis), a five piece powerpop band hailing from South Wales exploded onto the Music Scene Late 2009 with their infectious Melodies and Happy go Lucky Attitude! that leaves their listeners craving for more long after they have finished listening. A Brief Recap: The bands THIRD show @ the London O2 Arena saw Reaper In Sicily become Kerrang! best live unsigned act of 2009 months after their First show! Along with this prestigous title, - Kerrang! award winners - Reaper In Sicily recorded their First single \'We are the show\' at the famous Rockfield Studios! With all the hype of the single release (Top 5 in the iTunes pre-order chart) and with things progressing really well for the band, it was a big shock when Matthew was diagnosed with Acute Meyloid Leukaemia that left the band on hiatus, until he recovered! August 2010 and Matthew Had just been declared \"In Remission\" when they get invited to play at the Reading/Leeds festival. After months out of action the first show back was a definately a big one! Finally Reaper were reunited and their journey to world dominance could continue. They began work on their next record with Rory Meredith @ Rawr music! The music being produced at this stage was something unbelievable! It made everything before seem insignificant in comparison. With the hype behind them Reaper in Sicily released their five track mini album to the world. It was accepted with great feedback and earned them a modest review in Kerrang! Magazine and various other media outlets. Armed with their brand new music they set out on the scene playing shows around the country and further developing their online presence.

The Mini album gained Reaper shows with bands such as \'the subways\' and \'attack attack\' to mention a few. After touring the country playing to venues all shape and sizes they returned to play at Merthyr rock in September 2011. Since then reaper have returned to support attack attack on the home show of their UK tour, a personal achievement for the band.

September 13th Reaper in Sicily released their brand new Demo track \'worlds end\' from their forthcoming E.P with a homemade \'music video\' shot completely by the band. Which received an amazing response.

Reaper displayed a new sound that differed from the pop feeling of Eden. And took the sound to a new direction.

Reaper were back and they were writing the type of music that they wanted to play. Faster, harder, better!!!
