Tone Damage was formed in Summer 2010 in preparation for the National Eisteddfod held in the bands hometown, Ebbw Vale. Originally a 5 piece band with a female singer. They spent 2 weeks of non-stop writing, constructing and composing original material with Welsh lyrics Tone Damage played 2 shows at the festival.

With the Eisteddfod finished, the band decided to continue working and writing songs, now with English lyrics. In the winter of 2010 a male singer was brought in. Every member contributed songs ideas and general knowledge of music to produce more original written material. These songs are still being written at a high rate. November 28 2011 marked the steady and up roared release of their EP entitled ''Along for the ride''. Its features 4 new tracks from the band. As early as October, the band were asked to play BBC radio wales, playing 2 unreleased tracks and 2 off their EP to support their image and following. Tone Damage will be set to support the band ''ATTACK ATTACK'' in the coming of 2012. Tone Damage are also set to release their new untitled album in 2012.
